There are lots of ways to get involved with Hanwell Carnival

Hanwell Carnival has lots of opportunities to get involved, whether you are a charity, company or private individual. With some 50,000 visitors on the day, Hanwell Carnival is the second largest carnival in west London after Notting Hill.

Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help with the carnival. It is a real community effort and takes a lot to put it on. Whatever your skills, your contribution will be most valuable – everyone and everything is very welcome. Please contact us to get involved.
The procession is one of the real highlights of carnival and having a presence guarantees you incredible exposure. Travelling through Hanwell from the Community Centre to Elthorne Park, it really gets the excitement started. Carnival Royalty

The Carnival Queen, Princess and Prince perform an essential function opening the Carnival and representing Hanwell for the coming year. Supporting local charities is the very reason for our existence. As a charity, Hanwell Carnival offers a superb opportunity to fundraise, get volunteers or just communicate your message.

Dog Show

The Dog Show is a well established part of Hanwell Carnival. There’s a great choice classes and entry is only £3 per class. You don’t need to pre-register just turn up on the day and enter your canine companion. Full schedule and details now available.

Beating The Bounds

An age old tradition in Hanwell which now takes place on the first bank holiday Monday in May. Beating The Bounds, is a circular walk of about eight miles around the ancient boundaries of the parish. Over 130 walkers took part in the walk last year, raising funds for Hanwell Carnival. Learn more HERE about this year’s event on Monday 2 May.
